Phase I
Begin developing skills for a new life in a peaceful shared living environment.
Landing
The first phase consists of acclimation and stabilization utilizing the three approaches of our program (clinical, life skills, adventure). While each man lands, he is met with intensive individual attention and support to assist in the first leg of his journey.Phase II
Continue developing skills and begin to establish more responsibility.
Exploration
While each man explores, he takes with him the new skills and awareness that are being built during the landing phase. During this time, each man finds direction and application to his path in which he begins to explore (e.g. education, employment, community contribution).Phase III
Actively branching out into the world and demonstrating positive healthy actions.
Action
The foundation has been constructed as each man transitions into the action phase. Here he increases his autonomous direction and internal accountability as he embarks on his own self-defined path. He continues his intensive individual care to create a healthy stream of life for him to follow.Phase IV
Living a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a link to the program for support.
Discovery
This is where the men have achieved a measurable pattern of autonomy and have gained independent living skills and self-governance. Hired Power Breakaway men are gifted with the opportunity to find daily challenges and successes to enhance every aspect of their life. Growth is realized using an intensive clinical approach blended with a focus on individualized life-coaching and living skills, with a strong emphasis on natural adventure curriculum. Each man is greeted with a team that includes licensed and certified staff, personal and nutritional training, life-skills development experts, and individual mentors. These men will have a tailored individual program designed for their unique circumstances. Not only do we strive for lasting recovery, the LEAD program is designed to impart autonomy and awareness used to pass on to the next generation. Through successful completion of this process, these men become mentors and leaders in their own right.
